Violin 4/4
A German handcrafted instrument from the early 20th century, built on the model of the large-pattern Giovanni Paolo Maggini violin of 1610.

The purfling is characteristic of the work of German violin makers.

Condition is good. The label is absent.

The wood is of the highest quality: fine-grained spruce on the top, and broad-grained, flamed maple with a beautiful figure on the back and ribs.

The varnish is even, and the instrument has no cracks.

Minor restoration was carried out in the monastery workshop.

Color: light brown with a dull-golden hue.
Sound characteristic: an orchestral instrument.
